Clari alternatives after the Salesloft merger

Clari alternatives after the Clari and Salesloft merger: forecasting platforms, call recorders and deal coaching, compared on what happens after a flag.

Teams look for Clari alternatives for one of three reasons: they want a different forecasting platform, they want a different call recorder in place of Clari Copilot, or they have a forecast that flags risk and reps who still do not know what to do about it. Each reason points to a different kind of tool. This page sorts them that way, using what each vendor's own site said on 31 October 2026.

For how deal risk works and what to do with a flagged deal, see our deal risk guide.

What changed: Clari is part of Salesloft

Clari and Salesloft announced on 3 December 2025 that they had completed their merger and appointed Steve Cox as CEO of the combined company, with the aim of building what they call "the first Predictive Revenue System" (Salesloft newsroom). On 31 October 2026, clari.com redirects to salesloft.com and Clari Forecast is presented on a Salesloft page. That page leads with "Know your number," "Catch risk early" and "Predict, then act," and says its AI Forecast Agent "analyzes all your historical deal data and live rep activity" (Clari Forecast).

So a team replacing Clari today is replacing part of a sales engagement platform. If your reps already run cadences in Salesloft, the merged product may fit the way your team already works. If they do not, the question is which job you need done. Our Clari vs Gong comparison puts those two side by side.

Three jobs, three kinds of alternative

Job What the tool does Examples below
Forecast and inspect the pipeline Predicts the number, flags risky deals, tracks the forecast over time Gong Forecast, Outreach, Aviso, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Forecastio
Record calls and keep notes Captures meetings, writes notes, updates the CRM, scores calls Avoma
Coach the rep on the flagged deal Works out what the deal is missing and prepares the rep's next buyer conversation Replicate Labs

The first two groups overlap with Clari. The third starts where a risk flag ends.

Forecasting and pipeline platforms

Gong Forecast. Gong says its forecast helps teams "spot risk early, coach effectively, and confidently call your number," that it "detects deal risk in real time," and that capturing every customer interaction produces "100x more data per opportunity than you find in CRM" (Gong Forecast). Account Boards extend it to renewals and expansion. Best fit for teams that want forecasting on top of a call recording platform. Compare: Replicate Labs vs Gong.

Outreach. Outreach lists an AI projection of where the period will finish, scenario planning, intraquarter modeling and forecast submission history (Outreach). Its Deal Health score rates each opportunity 0 to 100 against similar deals at similar stages, recalculates daily, and suggests actions inside Outreach (Outreach Deal Health). Best fit for teams whose reps already sequence in Outreach, the closest like-for-like to the merged Clari + Salesloft.

Aviso. Aviso presents itself as a "#1 Clari Alternative" and an agentic AI platform for forecasting and AI guided selling, and features customer videos about switching from Clari (Aviso). Best fit for large teams that want a forecasting platform independent of their engagement tool.

Salesforce Sales Cloud. Salesforce says forecasting comes as part of Sales Cloud without a separate revenue intelligence license (Salesforce). Best fit for teams that want fewer tools and already run on Salesforce.

Forecastio. Forecastio describes itself as HubSpot-native forecasting that assigns deal-level probabilities with machine learning, predicts close dates and tracks forecast accuracy with an audit trail. Best fit for HubSpot teams.

Call recording and notes

Avoma. Avoma's Clari page targets Clari Copilot, the call recorder. It offers custom AI notes by meeting type, two-way CRM sync with custom fields, automatic call scoring against frameworks such as MEDDPICC and SPICED, trackers for pricing, objection and competitor mentions, and "Why We Won / Why We Lost" summaries (Avoma). Best fit for teams replacing the recording and notes layer.

Deal coaching after the flag

Every platform above can tell a manager which deals look risky. Replicate Labs stages deals by buyer evidence and flags them too. The difference is what happens next.

When a deal is missing something (a signer who has not heard the case, a cost no buyer has stated, a date the buyer does not own), the rep gets one click into a call with Caty to prepare the conversation that fills it. The rep talks the deal through and Caty works it in the team's own method, whether that is MEDDPICC or a house playbook. Gap Selling teams work with Keenan, and ValueSelling Framework® teams with Val. The rep leaves with the opening line rehearsed. Managers see the pattern across the team through Bryce.

That is the gap our blog on why a risk score is not a fix describes. Replicate Labs works the next step with the rep the same day, and it can run alongside any of the forecasting platforms above because it works on the deals they flag.

Why teams look for a Clari alternative

Most teams start looking because something around Clari changed: the merger with Salesloft, a renewal, a CRM move, or a new sales leader who wants a different operating rhythm. Others start because the forecast works and the number still misses. Those are different problems. A renewal or CRM move is a tooling decision. A forecast that flags the right deals and still misses is a coaching problem, and swapping forecasting platforms will not fix it.

Write the reason down before you book a demo. It decides which column of the table above you should be shopping in.

How to evaluate a Clari alternative

Run every candidate through the same checks, on your data, before anyone signs.

  1. Fit with the CRM you run. Ask to see the product working on a sandbox copy of your CRM, with your stages and custom fields, before you trust a slide that lists it as an integration.
  2. Forecast against a frozen snapshot. Take your pipeline as it stood at the start of a past quarter and ask each vendor to forecast it. You already know how that quarter ended.
  3. What a manager does after a risk flag. Pick five deals the tool flags and ask what the rep is supposed to do on each one. If the answer is "the manager decides", the tool stops at visibility.
  4. Who maintains it. Find out what admin work the tool needs each month and who on your team will do it.
  5. What leaves with you. Ask what happens to forecast history, call recordings and notes if you move again later.
  6. Total cost. Get the full price in writing, including platform fees, seat minimums and add-ons such as call recording.

How to switch without losing the forecast

The risky part of a switch is the quarter in which it happens. A sequence that keeps the forecast call intact:

  1. Export forecast history first. Pull weekly forecast submissions and commit history out of Clari so you can compare accuracy before and after.
  2. Map your categories. Make sure commit, best case and pipeline mean the same thing in the new tool, with the same rules for moving a deal between them.
  3. Run both for one forecast cycle. Managers submit in both tools for a few weeks and compare the roll-ups line by line.
  4. Cut over at a quarter boundary. Switching mid-quarter means the call that matters most runs on a tool nobody has used under pressure.
  5. Retrain on the weekly meeting. Walk managers through the weekly forecast call in the new tool, start to finish, using live deals.

A worked example

Brightwell, a fictional HR software company with 60 sellers on HubSpot, came off a Clari renewal with two complaints: forecasting felt heavy for a HubSpot shop, and flagged deals kept slipping anyway. Its RevOps lead, Casey, split the problem in two.

For forecasting, Casey trialed two HubSpot-friendly options against last year's third-quarter snapshot and picked the one whose forecast landed closest to the real result. For the slipping deals, Casey asked managers to list the ten flagged deals that slipped last quarter and what each was missing. Most had the same gap: no signer had heard the business case. That part went to deal coaching, where reps prepared the conversation with the signer before the next forecast call.

Brightwell ended up with two tools doing two jobs, chosen separately.

Which one when

Pick the Clari alternative that matches where your reps already work and what you need after a risk flag.

  • Your reps live in a sales engagement tool. Look at Outreach, or stay on Clari + Salesloft.
  • You want forecasting and call recording in one system. Gong.
  • You run HubSpot and want lighter forecasting. Forecastio, or HubSpot's own forecast tool.
  • You run Salesforce and want fewer vendors. Sales Cloud forecasting.
  • You are replacing Clari Copilot, the recorder. Avoma.
  • The forecast already flags the risk and deals still slip. Add deal coaching: talk to us about a slipping deal or the whole team. How to improve forecast accuracy shows the process either way.

FAQ

Did Clari merge with Salesloft?

Clari merged with Salesloft: the two companies announced on 3 December 2025 that they had completed their merger and named Steve Cox CEO of the combined company. As of 31 October 2026, clari.com redirects to salesloft.com, and Clari Forecast appears as a Salesloft product page.

Which Clari alternative fits forecasting?

The right Clari alternative for forecasting depends on where your reps work. Teams on Outreach can use its forecasting and Deal Health; teams that also want call recording look at Gong Forecast; HubSpot teams look at Forecastio; Salesforce teams can use Sales Cloud forecasting. Trial them against your own fixed snapshot and give that result more weight than a demo.

What is the difference between Clari and Clari Copilot?

Clari Forecast is the forecasting and pipeline product. Clari Copilot is the conversation intelligence product that records and summarizes calls. Teams replacing Copilot usually look at call recorders such as Avoma or Gong; teams replacing the forecast look at forecasting platforms.

Do I need a forecasting tool and a deal coach?

Many teams use both. A forecasting tool tells a manager which deals look risky and how the number is tracking. A deal coach works with the rep on each flagged deal to find what is missing and prepare the next buyer conversation, which is what changes the outcome.

Does Replicate Labs replace Clari?

Not as a forecasting platform. Replicate Labs stages deals by buyer evidence and shows what each is missing, then coaches the rep through the next conversation on a call. Teams that need a forecast roll-up for finance usually keep a forecasting platform alongside it.
