The right Showpad alternative depends on what you want enablement to do that it does not do for you now. Teams that want a larger content-led platform look at Seismic, which now includes Highspot. Teams that want training and readiness at the center look at Mindtickle or Allego. Teams that want enablement inside the CRM and browser look at Spekit. Teams whose reps have the right content and still stall on live deals look at AI deal coaching.

What Showpad does
Showpad is an enablement platform built around field selling. Its home page opens with "The world relies on what you sell. You can rely on Showpad" and names its buyers plainly: "Medical devices that save lives. Equipment that powers cities". It calls itself "the revenue effectiveness platform for field teams who can't afford to slow down".
The page lists governed content creation, organization and search; a Field Seller Agent that turns "meeting insights into CRM updates and email follow-ups before you're back in the car"; Authoring AI that turns dense documents into training with voiceovers, translations and quizzes; a Roleplay AI avatar "who knows your industry and competitors, interrupts, and objects"; digital product demos and deal rooms; and "an open API, 75+ pre-built integrations, and MCP connections". Showpad Genie is described as "the platform's AI core that learns how your company wins". The home page says 2,000+ companies rely on it.
The company changed shape last year. Vector Capital completed its acquisition of Showpad on 30 October 2025 and combined it with Bigtincan, which it had bought in April, with the joint business operating under the Showpad brand and led by CEO Apratim Purakayastha.
Why teams look for a Showpad alternative
Teams that look past Showpad tend to want one of five things.
- A larger content-led platform for a big go-to-market team across marketing and sales.
- Training and readiness at the center, with content as one part.
- Enablement inside the tools reps already use, so nobody has to open a separate app.
- A lighter content tool for a small mobile team.
- Help on the deal itself. A field rep can carry the right spec sheet into every meeting and still lose the deal because nobody asked who signs.
The fifth reason is the gap we see most. Content and training narrow the gap between what a rep knows and what they do in the meeting, for a while. Performance drift reopens it within weeks. Coaching on the live deal closes it, and field managers rarely have the hours to do that with every rep, which is where our AI sales experts come in.
Showpad and Replicate Labs, decision by decision
Showpad's column is from its home page. Ours is from our site.
| The decision | Showpad | Replicate Labs |
|---|---|---|
| What it coaches | Skills and messaging, through governed content, training and avatar roleplay | The deal: what the buyer said, what is missing, the next move |
| Where it works | Content library, training, product demos, deal rooms and field follow-up | The live pipeline, before and after each meeting |
| How the rep works with it | Finds and presents content; practices with an avatar; approves follow-ups | Talks the deal through with an AI sales expert on a call; types when they cannot talk |
| Method support | Your content and approved messaging | The team's own method runs natively: Gap Selling, the ValueSelling Framework®, MEDDPICC or a house method |
| Manager view | Analytics on content and training; spot "the patterns behind top performers and high-converting content" | Bryce, the manager coach, reads calls, roleplays, coaching history and deals and preps each 1:1 |
We cover the practice and follow-up layer too: roleplay "with a buyer who holds the line", built from your personas and scored on your scorecard, and a follow-up written from the meeting and checked against the method before it sends. On top of that, "a deal review is a call", and the expert asks what the buyer said, in the buyer's numbers, before suggesting a move. Replicate Labs is not a content library, so field teams usually run it beside one. Our side-by-side page is Replicate Labs vs Showpad.
Showpad alternatives by the reason to switch
A larger content-led platform: Seismic
Seismic describes itself as "the AI platform for revenue execution", with "trusted content, intelligence, and role-based agents everywhere your teams work". It completed its merger with Highspot on 18 August 2026 and now serves 2,500 customers, by its own count. Seismic runs a Showpad migration page of its own. See Seismic alternatives and Highspot vs Seismic.
Readiness at the center: Mindtickle or Allego
Mindtickle opens with "Your AI teammate for every deal". Allego offers to "unify learning, coaching, content, and digital selling in one platform", and its Showpad page pitches itself as the alternative to "Showpad, Bigtincan, and Brainshark". Pick one when onboarding, certification and practice matter more than the library.
Enablement in the flow of work: Spekit
Spekit describes "AI-first revenue enablement for every rep and every agent" and delivers content, learning and coaching inside the tools reps use. Pick it when adoption of a separate app is the problem.
A lighter content tool: Crescendo
Crescendo pitches itself as a Showpad alternative for content distribution, with a single source for content and use of your existing cloud storage. Pick it when a small team needs content on tablets and little else.
The live deal: Replicate Labs
This is our category, so weigh it accordingly. Replicate Labs builds AI sales experts that know a selling method the way its authors do and can apply it to one deal. The rep brings a deal to Caty on a call. She asks for the buyer's evidence, names what the method says is missing and agrees one move, then opens the next session with it. Pick it when the content is in place and field deals still stall between visits.
One field rep, one stalled deal (illustrative)
The rep, buyer and numbers below are invented.
Sam sells industrial pumps. Sam has every spec sheet and case study the deal needs, and the demo of a $210,000 replacement project at a water utility went well. The plant manager asked for a proposal. Since then, three weeks of silence.
On a call with Caty, Sam says the plant manager is the decision maker. She asks who approves capital spend at the utility. Sam thinks a board. Has anyone on the finance side seen the energy savings? No. Did the plant manager say what an unplanned failure costs? He mentioned downtime in passing. The move for Monday: ask the plant manager what the last unplanned pump failure cost, and whether he will take that number into the capital review with Sam's proposal. When Sam comes back, Caty opens the session by asking for the figure.
The library gave Sam a good proposal. Until the call, nobody had asked who would read it.
Checking an avatar's scores
Showpad's Roleplay AI and most of its alternatives score the practice they run. Before a field manager acts on those scores, test them on your own recordings with pass lines set in advance. Give the tool ten calls your managers have already ranked and see whether it puts them in the same order, and score one call twice to see what moves. The checklist is in how to evaluate AI sales coaching software, the AI sales coaching guide explains the category, Hyperbound alternatives covers practice tools, and our ranked list is at best AI sales coaching software.
Field deals stall in the weeks between visits, which is when nobody is around to ask who approves the spend. If you have a deal like Sam's, talk to us before the next visit.
FAQ
What are the best Showpad alternatives? The best Showpad alternative depends on the job. Seismic, now merged with Highspot, suits teams that want a larger content-led platform, Mindtickle and Allego suit readiness-led teams, Spekit suits enablement inside the CRM and browser, Crescendo suits a small team that needs content distribution, and Replicate Labs suits teams that want reps coached on live deals.
Did Showpad merge with Bigtincan? Yes. Vector Capital completed its acquisition of Showpad on 30 October 2025 and combined it with Bigtincan, which Vector had acquired in April 2025. The combined business operates under the Showpad brand, with Apratim Purakayastha as CEO, according to the press release.
What is the difference between Showpad and Seismic? Showpad focuses on field selling, with product demos, deal rooms, avatar roleplay and a Field Seller Agent for follow-up after in-person meetings. Seismic leads with content governance, intelligence and role-based agents across the go-to-market team, and merged with Highspot in August 2026. Both cover content and learning.
Does Showpad have AI roleplay? Yes. Showpad's home page lists a Roleplay AI avatar that knows your industry and competitors, interrupts and objects, alongside Authoring AI for building training from documents. Practice prepares a rep for a type of conversation; a deal coach prepares them for the next meeting on a specific deal.
Can I use Showpad and a deal coach together? Yes. Showpad can keep governing content, training and follow-up while a deal coach works the open pipeline with each rep. The library gives the rep the right material; the coach helps them decide who needs to see it and what to ask next.
