Showpad is a revenue effectiveness platform for field sales teams: governed content, sales readiness with Roleplay AI and Pitch AI, buyer engagement spaces and Genie AI agents. Replicate Labs builds AI sales experts that work each rep's live deals with them on a call, in the team's own method.
Ready for the meeting, or working the deal
Showpad gets a field seller ready to walk into the meeting: the right spec sheet, a rehearsed pitch, a certified story and an agent that turns discovery notes into a business case. Replicate Labs works the deal the meeting belongs to: what this buyer said, what the deal is still missing, and what the rep says next. We do practice and scoring in your method too, and managers get Bryce's read of the team. An expert on every live deal is what we add.

What Showpad says it does
Showpad's home page opens on what its customers sell: "Medical devices that save lives. Equipment that powers cities." It says "with safe, governed AI, Showpad solves complex business problems that generic enablement can't" and calls itself "the revenue effectiveness platform for field teams who can't afford to slow down". More than 2,000 companies use it, by its count. Vector Capital completed its acquisition of Showpad on 30 October 2025 and combined it with Bigtincan, which Vector bought in April 2025; the company operates under the Showpad brand.
The platform covers four areas from the same page: sales readiness, content management, buyer engagement with digital demos and deal rooms, and analytics. Roleplay AI puts reps against an avatar "who knows your industry and competitors, interrupts, and objects", and a Field Seller Agent turns meeting insights into CRM updates and follow-ups.
The sales readiness page is where coaching lives. Its section titled "A dedicated coach for every rep" reads: "Even your best managers can't advise everyone through every scenario. You and AI together can. Give every seller personalized pitch rehearsals and instant feedback so managers focus on the deals and reps that need them most". Pitch AI scores every pitch on "message clarity, delivery, key points", certification workflows track skill gaps, Showpad Competencies scores reps against role benchmarks and links each score to a course, and coaching dashboards show managers rep progress.
Genie agents handle tasks around the deal. The agents page lists an outreach agent, company research, competitive intelligence, an RFP response agent and a Business Case Agent that "converts discovery notes into a CFO-ready executive summary", with custom agents built in Genie Agent Studio and context from 30+ MCP connectors.
Pricing comes in three tiers (Professional, Advanced and Expert), each by quote; Roleplay AI, certifications and the manager hub sit in Advanced and above.
Replicate Labs for field sellers
Replicate Labs takes the team's buyers, method and scorecard once, set up with the methodology partner where the team has one.
A deal review is a call. The rep opens it, an expert such as Caty appears on camera, and they talk the deal through the way the rep would with a manager who had read every note and had the whole afternoon free. The expert establishes what the rep knows, names the gap between what the buyer said and what the rep concluded, gives the words for the next conversation and sets the agenda for the session after. It carries the deal between sessions. Typing is the fallback for a rep who cannot talk, which matters to field sellers between site visits.
The readiness layer is in the platform as well. Roleplay runs against the team's own buyer personas, scored on the team's scorecard; courses run in the team's method with the coach checking the work; and a coach call before the meeting covers the question to land and the trap coming. For managers and enablement, Bryce scores calls and roleplays against the scorecard, maps where the team clears each criterion, preps each 1:1 with one strength, one gap and one drill tied to a call, and reads which commit deals carry the buyer's own number. The method is Gap Selling, the ValueSelling Framework®, MEDDPICC or the team's own.

One field deal, both ways (illustrative)
The company, people and figures are invented to show the shape.
- After the visitA call from the parking lot
- How long is the backlog?
- What does it cost the hospital?
- The findingNo figure from the buyer
- The clinical lead said "big"
- The moveOne question, one meeting
- Weeks and referrals lost on the backlog
- The operations director who owns that cost
A field rep sells imaging equipment to a regional hospital group. The deal is $380,000 and the clinical lead loves the demo.
Showpad covers the preparation. The rep pulls the approved spec sheets on her tablet. She rehearsed the pitch with Pitch AI last month and has shared a buyer space with the clinical team. After the third visit the Business Case Agent turns her discovery notes into an executive summary for the hospital's CFO.
The summary goes nowhere. Her notes say "scan backlog is a big problem", and the agent wrote that the new system "reduces backlog significantly".
In Replicate Labs, she calls an AI sales expert from the parking lot after the visit. The expert asks how long the backlog is and what it costs the hospital. She does not know. The clinical lead said "big". The finding: a CFO will not approve a figure the hospital has never stated, and the only person she has met talks about patients and never about budget. The move: one question for the clinical lead that puts weeks and referrals lost on the backlog, and a request to meet the operations director who owns that cost. Once those numbers come from the buyer, the Business Case Agent has something real to summarize.
Running a pilot of the two
Pick ten recorded meetings that span the catalog and give both tools the same scorecard. Have two field managers rank the ten and see which tool matches their order; ranking is the measure our call-scoring research found most useful. Score one meeting twice to see how much moves.
Then take one stalled field deal to a working session and judge whether the rep acts on what comes back. The plan is in how to run an AI sales coaching pilot, and the full checklist in how to evaluate AI sales coaching software.
Catalog-heavy field selling and the deals behind it
Showpad fits field teams selling complex physical products who need governed content in the field, digital demos, pitch certification and agents for the paperwork around a deal. Its focus on regulated, catalog-heavy selling is clear on every page we read.
Replicate Labs fits a team where the preparation is good and deals still stall on what the buyer never said, because managers cannot work every deal with every rep. Showpad's own readiness page says managers should "focus on the deals and reps that need them most". The AI sales experts take the rest. The category is explained in the AI sales coaching guide, and the ranked list is at best AI sales coaching software.

FAQ

The coaching centers on the pitch and the rep's skills. The pages read do not describe a spoken session that works a specific live deal with the rep.
What is Showpad Roleplay AI? Roleplay AI is Showpad's practice feature: reps talk to an AI avatar that, in Showpad's words, knows your industry and competitors, interrupts and objects. It sits in Showpad's Advanced pricing tier and above, alongside knowledge checks, certifications and the My Team Manager hub.
What is the difference between Showpad and Replicate Labs? Showpad is a revenue effectiveness platform for field teams: content, readiness, buyer engagement and AI agents. Is Bigtincan part of Showpad now? Yes. Vector Capital completed its acquisition of Showpad on 30 October 2025 and combined it with Bigtincan, which it had acquired in April 2025.
