Avoma is an all-in-one AI platform for meetings: it records and transcribes calls, writes notes and follow-ups, schedules and routes leads, scores calls against scorecards and flags deal risk. Replicate Labs builds AI sales experts that work each rep's live deals with them on a call, in the team's own method.
Where the coaching lands
Avoma has pushed coaching toward the manager. Every call is scored against the same scorecard, gaps show up by rep and skill, and a 1:1 brief arrives with the evidence attached. Replicate Labs does the same preparation through its manager coach, then adds an AI sales expert who sits with the rep on the deal, by voice, as often as the rep needs it. That is the part that changes the next call.

What Avoma says it does
Avoma's home page describes one AI product that automates note-taking, scheduling, coaching, forecasting and more, sold in four parts: AI Meeting Assistant, Scheduler and Lead Router, Conversation Intelligence and Revenue Intelligence. Live transcription runs in 75+ languages, CRM fields for MEDDIC or SPICED update automatically, and an "Ask Avoma" copilot answers questions across meetings.
The coaching pages are specific. Avoma "scores your calls against your scorecards and shows coaching gaps by rep and skill. So your 1:1s start from what happened on the call". Pre-built scorecards cover MEDDIC, BANT, SPICED and SPIN, each score comes with "a detailed justification" and timestamped evidence, and managers get a weekly coaching digest with prioritized improvement areas per rep. A manager can ask Avoma, or an outside assistant through the Avoma MCP, for a one-page 1:1 brief built from the rep's recent calls, deal risks and open actions. Live answer cards pop up during a call when a rep hits an objection.
Avoma also names the problem plainly: "Most managers oversee 8 to 12 reps while handling forecast reviews and deal support. They rarely listen to calls, so rep feedback is based on self-reported updates". We agree with that diagnosis. It is the reason we built a coach.
Avoma publishes its prices. Plans are priced per "recorder" seat with viewers free: Startup at $19 a month billed annually, an Organization tier above it, and Enterprise at $39 billed annually only, with a 10-seat minimum. Conversation Intelligence, which carries "AI Coaching Recommendations, AI Call Scoring, Smart Trackers", is an add-on at $29 per seat a month billed annually, and Revenue Intelligence is another $29.
Replicate Labs, rep side and manager side
Replicate Labs takes a team's buyers, method and scorecard once, during implementation with the methodology partner, then puts an AI sales expert such as Caty, Keenan or Val on each rep's live deals. The rep opens a call, the expert comes up on camera, and they talk the deal through the way the rep would with a manager who had unlimited time and had read every note on the account. Typing is there for when a rep cannot talk.

The session runs to a pattern: two minutes of questions, the finding, the move in words the rep can say, and the agenda for the next conversation, usually fifteen to twenty minutes. If a supported recorder is connected (the FAQ lists Gong, Fathom, Fireflies and Salesloft), the rep can point the coach at the call itself. The coach carries the deal between sessions, so the next one starts where this one stopped.
The manager side matches Avoma's. Calls and roleplays are scored against the team's own scorecard. Bryce, the manager coach, preps a 1:1 as one strength, one gap and one drill, each tied to a moment on a recorded call; reads commit deals by asking whether the buyer said the number; and answers in Slack. The method is Gap Selling, the ValueSelling Framework®, MEDDPICC or the team's own.

One 1:1, both ways (illustrative)
The rep, deal and figures are invented to show the shape.
A manager with ten reps has a 1:1 with Priya on Thursday. The deal on the agenda is Priya's $120,000 platform replacement, which has sat in the proposal stage for three weeks.
With Avoma, the manager asks for a 1:1 brief. It pulls Priya's last calls, flags the deal as at risk because engagement dropped, and notes her discovery scores are below the team average, with timestamps. The manager walks in prepared and spends twenty minutes on the deal.
With Replicate Labs, the manager asks Bryce the same question and gets one strength, one gap and one drill: Priya gets buyers talking, but none of her last four calls ended with a dated next step from the buyer, and the deal's cost figure is her estimate. But Priya has already been on a call with Caty on Tuesday, before the buyer meeting. Caty asked who in the account had agreed the cost of the current system, found nobody had, and gave her the question to ask. She asked it. So the 1:1 starts from the buyer's own number, and the manager spends it on the drill.
The manager's prep is about the same in both. The difference is that the rep had an expert on the deal between 1:1s.
Comparing two scorecards and one deal
Both tools score calls against your scorecard, so that is where the trial starts. Load the same scorecard into each, score ten recorded calls, and have two managers rank the same ten. The tool whose order matches your managers is the one to trust. Score one call twice as well: in our call-scoring research, the checklist model in our final setup moved 1.7% of its scores on a re-run, and other setups moved far more.
Then bring one live deal to each and ask a rep whether they would act on what came back. The full list is in how to evaluate AI sales coaching software.
Consolidation buy or coaching buy
Avoma fits a team that wants one tool for meetings: recording, notes, scheduling, routing, scoring and forecasting, at a published per-seat price, with coaching insight delivered to managers. It is a sensible consolidation buy.
Replicate Labs fits a team whose managers already know which reps need help and do not have the hours to give it, deal by deal. The AI sales experts take the deal review with every rep, Bryce takes the read across the team, and the rep brings each deal to an expert on a call. The category is explained in the AI sales coaching guide, and the ranked list is at best AI sales coaching software.
Priya's 1:1 went better because the deal had been worked on Tuesday. If your managers already get Avoma's briefs, talk to us about adding the expert between them.
FAQ
Does Avoma do sales coaching? Yes. Avoma scores calls against scorecards such as MEDDIC, BANT, SPICED and SPIN, with a justification and timestamped evidence for each score. Managers get a weekly coaching digest, a dashboard of rep trends and a one-page 1:1 brief. The pages read do not describe a spoken coaching session with the rep on a live deal.
How much does Avoma cost? Avoma's pricing page lists Startup at $19 per recorder seat a month and Enterprise at $39, both billed annually, with viewers free and a 10-seat minimum on Enterprise. Conversation Intelligence, which includes AI call scoring and coaching recommendations, is a $29 per seat add-on. Prices were read on 31 October 2026.
What is the difference between Avoma and Replicate Labs? Avoma is an all-in-one meeting platform that scores calls and prepares managers to coach. Replicate Labs builds AI sales experts: an expert works each live deal with the rep on a call, in the team's method, and a manager coach gives the read across the team. Both score calls on your scorecard.
Can Replicate Labs use Avoma recordings? Avoma is not on our published integration list, which names Gong, Fathom, Fireflies and Salesloft for call recording, as of 31 October 2026. A rep can still bring any deal to the coach and talk it through. Teams can keep Avoma for capture, notes and scheduling and use Replicate Labs for the coaching conversation on each deal.
Is Avoma good for a sales manager with a large team? Avoma helps a manager find which calls and reps need attention without listening to everything, through scored calls and weekly digests. The coaching itself still waits for the manager's time. A team where that time is the constraint needs a coach that works the deal with each rep between 1:1s.
